Through a combination of lecture, case studies, and hands-on training, participants will gain a deep understanding of the pelvic floor’s anatomy, physiology, and common dysfunctions, as well as how to manage these cases.

Course Objectives
1. Understand the prevalence and impact of pelvic floor dysfunction on patients’ quality of life

- Pelvic floor muscle exercises and relaxation techniques
- Soft tissue and myofascial release techniques
- Spinal and pelvic joint mobilization and manipulation
- Breathing and diaphragm exercises based on principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

Dr. Lindsay Mumma
Lindsay Mumma, DC, DNSP, is the owner of Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC, a multidisciplinary practice she opened in 2012 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with the Clinical Excellence Award. She teaches for the Motion Palpation Institute and moveMentors. Her private practice focuses on rehabilitative chiropractic care across the lifespan and with a specific focus on prenatal and postpartum health.
