Description
When assessing Tennis Elbow we need to look at the situation in a more comprehensive manner than just the elbow itself. We go over a thorough assessment to figure out what may be some of the contributing factors to pain at the lateral elbow! There is a nice overview of some key techniques and strategies to look at when it comes to treating Tennis Elbow too.
From soft tissue techniques to joint mobilizations for the Upper Extremity, this will hone in on some of the key things to focus on! Finally, we go over some key exercises to consider when addressing pain at the elbow and also discuss how the rest of activity can be considered to help manage the situation as well too. We cover it all!

I have been a Physiotherapist for over a decade practicing in Vancouver, Canada. Before becoming a Physiotherapist I was a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, which laid an amazing foundation for my career as Rehab Pro. I could not recommend becoming well versed in S&C to any young rehab pro enough, to me it is the foundation of what we do. Early in my rehab career I spent a lot of time developing strong manual therapy skills which I found extremely helpful to manage pain and restore range of motion in my clients. With strong backgrounds in both exercise prescription and manual therapy I wanted to create an educational platform to help connect the dots between the two as I know it can be a confusing world out there for Rehab Pros to navigate.
At the end of the day movement is medicine. Exercise prescription is our gold standard in treatment. However, Manual Therapy is what I describe as "micro-movement education". How can we take assessment findings, implement effective treatments to manage pain and restore joint function and then follow it up with very impactful and direct exercise prescription work. This is the golden ticket and one of the main goals of my courses, workshops and memberships.
