Somatic Senses Education Needs a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator!

This is Dr Ben, owner of Somatic Senses Education. We've grown so much over the last few years that it's time to expand the team! Rather than hiring from outside our industry, I like the idea of helping out 1 or 2 young practitioners on their way into the field by teaching them and developing their business skill sets. I had many mentors early in my career and lots of people invested in my growth, so I want to do the same now that I am in a position to do so.

I need your help to find the right person. Please have a quick read:

Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Company: Somatic Senses Education, Inc

Location: 100% Virtual as Independent Contractor

Hours: Variable, Part-time (~5-10 hrs/week)

Compensation:

  • Unlimited Online Courses thru SSE
  • Unlimited In-Person Seminars thru SSE
  • First consideration to host educators and seminars in-person
  • $500 - $1,000 CAD monthly Stipend (via Direct Deposit)
  • Ability to grow much more over time as SSE continues to flourish

Brief Description:

There are only two goals for this job:

  1. Add massive value for our current customers.
  2. Draw the attention of new customers.

You'll accomplish these goals through co-creating a digital marketing strategy with me (Ben) and Rachel (SSE Admin), then executing it over time. Don't worry, we'll tell you what to do at the start and make sure you're comfortable. You'll have to design posts, reels, and stories, primarily for Instagram and Facebook, pulling from what media we have while seeking new media from our presenters/educators. You'll have massive control over the social media presence of Somatic Senses

You will interact directly with me, our educators, and many great people in our industry. The networking opportunities are endless for someone who wants to end up in education or simply wants to grow their own skill sets in leaps and bounds!
